The Healing Calabash

The mission of The Healing Calabash is to support the holistic healing of Black women through good food, plant medicine, and spiritual ritual and insight.

The Healing Calabash is a sacred wellness practice that supports clients in realigning with their inner truth by combining:

  • Herbalism (physical body + ancestral medicine)

  • Astrology (cosmic timing + soul path clarity)

  • Hypnotherapy (subconscious reprogramming + inner child work)

The Healing Calabash’s purpose is to make healing and African spirituality accessible and practical. We do this by providing community ritual, education, and products and services to empower you in your journey back to yourself, your inner wisdom, and your ancestors.

“Are you sure, sweetheart, that you want to be well?… Just so’s you’re sure, sweetheart, and ready to be healed, cause wholeness is no trifling matter. A lot of weight when you’re well.”

About the Founder

As the founder of The Healing Calabash, I believe that healing and spiritual practices should be both practical and accessible. The most powerful wisdom, rituals, and services cannot do the most good if they are exclusive. I know that one of the reasons I am alive at this moment is to support marginalized folks in getting the care they need.

This is why all of the work I do is rooted and centered in both ancestral wisdom and healing justice practices.
